Justine and Ryan’s Jackson Hole ranch wedding will always be memorable for me. In a year marked by so many unknowns and head-spinning challenges due to Covid-19, they trusted their hearts (and their vendors) and planned an intimate and meaningful wedding celebration at Diamond Cross Ranch. I am grateful that they chose to use our farm’s sustainably-grown flowers to celebrate their union!
Growing and designing flowers for their wedding was definitely a bright highlight of the year. The bride and groom’s color palette was filled with natural, muted shades of grey, green, navy, and blush. They wanted the floral designs to be classic and minimal, with a nod to the rustic location.
With Justine’s blush pink flower sash as a guide, I created Justine’s bridal bouquet using white dahlias and snapdragons, blush lisianthus and yarrow, and fragrant white garden roses and sweet peas from my flower farm. I used stems of aspen, sage, scented geranium, and juniper to fold in natural shades of grey and blue for the bridal bouquet and all-greenery boutonnières.
One of my favorite things was seeing Justine put on her greenery crown; made with native silverberry, it complemented her wedding style perfectly. Guests celebrated the couple’s union with flower confetti in cute paper cones, made from a colorful mix of fresh and dried flowers.
Filled with movement and grace, native quaking aspen provided the perfect greenery in her bridal bouquet, reception tables, "bride and groom" chair garlands, and the wooden backdrop at the back of the barn. In the center of each guest table, we arranged elegant floating candles rentals on wooden blocks brought by the couple’s family, which illuminated and warmed the guest tables. In true Wyoming wedding style, we placed sprigs of sage on each guest’s plate as a fragrant keepsake.
Justine and Ryan chose the ranch location, just down the road from Grand Teton National Park, “to transplant our guests away from the worries of the world.” That they did! The Diamond Cross Ranch venue provides one of the most spectacular views of the Grand Teton Mountains. As a working ranch, Diamond Cross weddings feature a release of their horses in the pasture in the background of the ceremony location.
Working with planner Ashley Rose, of Wild Rose Weddings and Events, was a breeze. The day-of schedule came together seamlessly, making for a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for the guests and wedding couple. It is such a joy to share the beautiful moments that photographer Jayme Chrisman captured - those fall sunsets in the Tetons are magical.

Love note from Justine {BRIDE}:
“Dandelion Floral took our requests and elevated them to a heavenly degree. When we walked into our venue for the first time on our wedding day, we were so impressed with the artistry of the greenery, the huge impact it made, the way it made us feel - which was complete adoration and love, knowing we made the right decision in vendor selection. Our corsage cuffs had such an amazing impact on our wedding party and family and everything tied together so beautifully and simply. The time and energy poured into the growing of our wedding florals and to create such a wonderful atmosphere, took our breath away. I LOVED my leaf crown, I wore it until I had to take it off before bed - absolutely stunning!
Teresa - your work is like no other and it was such an honor you said yes to working with us. You transformed a working barn into an ethereal dream. When we think of our day, we think of our floral elements and we are forever grateful for your aesthetic viewpoint, artistic hand and homegrown magnificence - it was elegant and exquisite.”
